Never thought I would see the day honestly. If you could go back in time to give the younger you some pointers, and you mentioned you were now a yogi in your late 30's, he'd think the 'you' from the future was smokin' crack... He'd laugh, point at you, and yell, "HA. GUH—AAAAAYYYYY!!" You'd probably laugh too because that will always be funny...but knowing who you are...as the laughter subsided but just before it ended, you'd say, "You know what's also gay AF...working a lifetime without any good memories to show for it, stressing about things you can't control, constantly feeling like there is no pause button, no break, no relief...no place to think clearly or peacefully...and not knowing what to do about." Never forget that yoga taught you patience. You had **zero** patience before. It was always about the next thing, not once stopping to connect with yourself in a meaningful way...Maybe you were running? From truth? You understood the word patience by its dictionary definition, but to you it only meant one thing, "Now I gotta wait." You had know idea what patience was. You only truly learned patience during a session of yoga. During that session it just clicked. It was like when Peter Griffin didn't ever fart until he became an adult. The first one surprised and concerned him, "What the hell was that?" This was your "Ohhhh" moment. This "feeling" that you felt was "yoga." No matter what you do to achieve this feeling, whichever method, which rules are followed, which type of yoga—whatever...that feeling IS "yoga." Never forget that. #yoga #fitness #vibin #awareness #stressmanagement
