That’s on purpose.
Because those are the **easy parts**.
Anyone can Google macros or follow a workout plan.
But if you don’t mentally prepare for the battle ahead—
you will lose.
And every time you lose because you didn’t prepare,
you trust yourself a little less.

### 🥊 You’re About to Step Into the Ring
If you were a fighter with a match coming up in two months—
Would you prepare?
Or just wing it?
If you wing it, you get knocked out. Simple.
Now imagine remodeling your house.
Would you rip out your kitchen before checking your budget or delivery dates?
Hell no.
But every January 1st…
The gym fills with people whose “plan” is just… **January 1st**.
By February? Most are gone.
No gameplan.
Knocked out in the first round.

Prepare for what’s coming.

Whatever works—just don’t skip this step.

These are what knock most people off track in the first week—sometimes the first day.

### Challenge #1: **They Will Try to Stop You**
> “They” = anyone in your circle who isn’t ready for your growth.
It’s not always malicious.
Sometimes it’s just inertia. Comfort. Status quo.
- Your friend who always wants happy hour wings?
→ **Plan for that.**
- Your partner brings home Costco pizza mid-meal prep?
→ **Plan for that.** _(And don’t try to change them. Lead instead.)_
- Susan from the front desk made cookies and insists you take one?
→ **Plan for Susan.**
She doesn’t care about your blood sugar—she just wants your chubby cherub face to smile.
If you don’t have a plan for these moments?
You’ll fold.

### Challenge #2: **Self-Sabotage and Emotional Drift**
You start strong.
Turn down the cookie.
Hit your protein goal.
Then you come home drained and emotionally raw.
Next thing you know—
You’re face-deep in leftover pumpkin pie wondering what happened mid-bite.
That wasn’t failure.
That was a **lack of awareness and no plan**.
