## Chapter 6 — Plan the Remodel > ### "_Use Your Me Time to Design Your Next Level_" Alright—now we’re getting to the fun part. You’ve carved out your daily Me Time. Now let’s use it to **design the best possible version of you**. This isn’t about overplanning or perfection. It’s about **honest reflection** and taking your power back. --- ## 🛠️ Create Your Plan How you do this is up to you. - Write it on a napkin - Use a journal or notebook - Drop it into your phone’s notes app - Or better yet: **build it into your system** Most people (me included) will default to what’s convenient. That’s fine. But make sure it’s **easy to find** and **review daily**. --- ### ⚡ Shortcut (Optional) You can skip the setup and use the companion vault I’ve built for you: > 🔗 _[📁 Download the Obsidian Vault Template – coming soon]_ Just install Obsidian, drop in the folder, and open it. It includes prebuilt note templates, habit prompts, and space for your fitness plan. --- ## 📄 Example: My Fitness Plan Create a new note and call it something like **My Fitness Plan**. Jot down goals and how you plan to reach them. No need to overthink it — just start. --- ### 🎯 Sample Goals - Lose 10 pounds by `[insert date]` - Do 20 perfect pushups in a row - Build a lean, subtly muscular physique - Gain 10 pounds of muscle this year - Try yoga - Run a mile in under `[x]` minutes - Fit into `[specific item]` again - Learn to handstand --- ### ❓Why Is This Important to You? Write it out: - I want to take care of myself for my kids - I want to feel confident in my skin - I want my clothes to fit right - I want to enjoy shopping — not dread it - I want more energy - I want less pain - I want to go backpacking - I want to deal with anxiety in a healthy way - I’m emo and need to wear tight jeans again _(respect)_ --- ### 🧩 How Will You Do It? - I’ll hit the mat and knock out 50 pushups in 30 minutes - I’ll stretch in silence and practice breathwork - I’ll run every other day starting `[insert date]` - I’ll master bodyweight basics: pushups, sit-ups, etc. --- ### 🔥 What Will Try to Stop You — And Your Plan to Handle It - **Susan and her brownies.** I’ll tell her I’m diabetic. _(Kidding… kind of)_ - **My partner guilt-tripping me.** I will not be repressed — I’ll lead by example. - **Me: I suck at cooking.** I’ll look up simple recipes like Monster Mash. - **Me: I don’t wake up early.** Alarmy. 10 math problems. Non-negotiable. - **Me: I don’t feel worth it.** I’ll reject that version of me and suplex him into the void. --- ## 📆 Read It Every Day Set a calendar alert. Create a recurring task. Stick a Post-it on your bathroom mirror. > **Read your plan every single day.** That’s what makes it real. Reading it daily = awareness Reading it daily = momentum Reading it daily = inevitable action --- You’ve now done something most people never do: You’ve started a **real, honest dialogue with yourself.** That’s rare. That’s powerful. --- > [!tip] > Plans aren’t perfect. That’s not the point. > > The point is **showing yourself that you’re serious this time.** > You wrote it down. You’re looking it in the eye. > That changes everything. --- ### 🔗 Continue the Journey 📘 **[[06 Journaling for Awareness|Next: Journaling to Build Awareness →]]** 🔗 _[[Download The Vault|Vault Companion Download]] 🔁 _[[00 The Order of Things|Back to Series Overview]]
